I love simplicity and try to design with that in mind keeping the stone the centre of all attention. It was easy to do that with these beautiful pieces. The cap is of fine silver and each piece has either an emerald or peridot on top. Open to the light you can see the translucent minty apple green glowing.
I have included some photos to show the light through the stone. The Chrysoprase that is indigenous to Australia and found in Queensland is regarded as the best Chrysoprase in the world. It’s apple green or minty green glow is unique and translates beautifully to jewellery.
Some of these stones have the delicate tendrils of dendrite gently kissing the outer edges, they are like pictures of an inner sea.
I hand cut my own stones in my home studio, everything I make is unique and one of a kind.
These totally unique pieces of Australia are limited as are all minerals from the earth so don’t put off getting something as timeless and elegant as this piece.
This is quite a process to make from cutting to setting so know they are made with love and attention to detail.
