These are my hand carved scarab earrings. A combination of modern and ancient design. I love making beetles and this natural Arizona turquoise is perfect to carve these ancient symbols. Such a strong pop of blue.
This turquoise is from old stock meaning it was dug up about 30 years ago and stabilised. There is not a lot of it around and so I treat each piece as if it is the last.
These are set in 9k gold on an open sterling silver back plate with rich red natural rubies.
They are elegant and fun and unique. Gold and turquoise, a powerful combination.

I am lucky enough to be able to cut my own stones as well as create and present to you my original works. Each piece is put together with the passion I have for making jewellery. Please be aware that these stones may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.
