This is a big beautiful soft blue to green Coober Pedy crystal Opal set in 14k yellow gold. The light shines straight through as a true crystal Opal does. The colours change on your skin, it is so so lovely.
Coober Pedy Opals are incredibly beautiful. The mines are located in South Australia where the locals all live underground to escape the intense heat of the Aussie desert.
This piece has an open back with colour on both sides of the stone.
The band is designed to sit comfortably on your finger without the stone swinging around.

The ring pictured is a size K 1/2. This can be sized up a few sizes but not down. So please make sure to choose the correct size as once this has been sized up it cannot go down.
I hand cut and polish nearly all my Opals. Please be aware that these Opals may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended, I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.
