Australian Boulder Opal was formed over 65 million years ago when water in the form of gem silica formed in the cracks and seams of iron stone and sand stone rock, creating the incredible Opal colour displays you see today. Boulder Opal is located and mined in outback Queensland. Australian Opal is by far the best in the world.
I hand cut and polished all my Opals. Please be aware that these Opals may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended, I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.
